What now?
What am I doing now, as I’ve stepped into 2024? I have continued to serve the YWAM Toowoomba base and the greater community through our cafe ministry, in a staff bible study and in leading something called ‘Track Time’ for the DTS.
The cafe ministry is one we have been pioneering, so it is in its early stages; nevertheless it has been a privilege to be apart of. My heart is that those who come into our cafe, feel the Light and Love of God and are impacted by it. Whether by the small, intentional details we make as a cafe, (ex. the quality of our drinks), as well as how we interact and invite individuals to make them feel ‘at home’.
As well as this, I’ve recently begun leading a bible study for the logistical staff on our base. This has been a dream come true, as I get to be apart of what God wants to do in and through both myself and the individuals that come along. It is a great opportunity to come back to His Word, together as a team, and as the Body of Him who is the head.
I believe in the power of the Word of God, and am excited for what will come from these times of soaking and discussing the Word together.
I’ve begun to lead a DTS ‘Track Time’ for the ‘Arts & Media’ Track as well, which looks like facilitating a time of inviting God into the stream of arts and media and how He can work through as He partners with us. This has been a fun opportunity and is a privilege as I’m passionate in the area of the Arts myself.
